Iceland has extended its customer loyalty scheme, Bonus Card, which can now be used online when purchasing goods for home delivery.

The frozen food retailer launched the original Bonus Card in April 2021, helping consumers save up to 50% on selected product when they were shopping in-store.

Shoppers can now save money across a wide range of own-brand and branded products, with discounts on brands including McCain’s, Linda McCartney, Bird’s Eye and KitKat all now available from the supermarket’s website.

The loyalty scheme is free to download and customers can receive £1 cashback for every £20 they spend using their Bonus Card.

The news comes shortly after Waitrose launched its revamped loyalty programme, myWaitrose, in a bid to prioritise personalised offers and increase savings.

According to the high-end supermarket, it is refocusing and increasing its investment on the rewards that matter most, as well as expanding rewards for all customers.
