Aldi launches fruity craft beer range

Aldi has launched a new range of fruity craft beer to celebrate international beer day today.

The announcement comes after recent research emerged revealing that the UK bought over 515 million litres of beer during the past year.

International Beer Day has been celebrated every year since 2007, and as a result the discounter has produced a variety of drinks in time for the event, featuring options such as its Hop Foundry Grapefruit Pale Ale, Hop Foundry Strawberry Lager and New England IPA at £1.39 per 440ml can.

Its new releases also include San Marcos Premium Lager retailing at £1.29 per 500ml bottle and Sainte Etienne Premium Lager Beer at 60p per 440ml can.

The retailer is also launching its El Bandido Beer Bière Cerveza Tequila Flavoured Beer at £1.10 per 330ml bottle, and its St Pierre Belgian Blonde Beer at £2.99 per 750 ml bottle.

The news comes as Aldi announced the launch of its new barbeque range earlier this month, including Japanese-inspired options such as Yakatori Chicken Kebabs and Shirayuki Japanese Sake in celebration of the Toyko Summer Olympics.
