BrewDog launches into low-alcohol beer category
Craft beer company BrewDog is tapping into the trend of reduced alcohol consumption by introducing a lower-alcohol-by-volume version of its popular Hazy Jane beer.
The new Baby Hazy drink is now available on Sainsbury’s shelves, and also on the company’s e-commerce platform and at BrewDog bars. The new beer comes in 3% ABV with Krush, Talus, and Citra versions available.
Brewdog said the new drink is “packed with all the tropical notes, oats and wheat of Hazy Jane, just with the alcohol dialled down a notch”.

The news comes on the heels of a rebranded packaging design which launched last month, revamping the design of popular ranges such as Punk IPA, Hazy Jane, and Elvis Juice.
Lauren Carrol, COO of BrewDog, said of the rebrand: “This is the start of a new era for BrewDog. The new packaging will do something we have always sought to do right from the start, disrupt the category.
“Our mission remains as it has always been, to make people as passionate about great beer as we are.”
The beer brand also offers an Alcohol-Free range and Black Heart stout. As part of its expansion plan, it unveiled a range of kitchen products with sauces and seasonings.
