Galaxy Chocolate opens “UK’s tiniest bakery” installation
Galaxy opened a tiny bakery marketing installation in London yesterday to mark the launch of its two new flavours, Millionaire Crumble and Cinnamon Swirl.
The brand invited bakery and TV personality Kim-Joy to open the bakery yesterday, which offered commuters free samples of the new products.
This comes as research from the confectionery brand revealed that 20 per cent value a sweet treat during a busy weekday while 16 per cent enjoy choosing a favourite snack.
The visitors had the opportunity to choose between Millionaire Crumble and Cinnamon Swirl by pressing the corresponding buzzer before their chosen bar was served through the tiny bakery counter.

Romi Mackiewicz, brand director at Galaxy, said: “Our research shows that almost half of working Brits say their journey home is their only guaranteed, uninterrupted ‘me time’ during the working day. Those little everyday moments offer a chance to pause and enjoy a little indulgent escapism, so we wanted to celebrate them in true Galaxy style.
“With the launch of Millionaire Crumble and Cinnamon Swirl, we opened the UK’s tiniest bakery – a miniature bakery the size of our new Galaxy bars – to give commuters a delicious moment of indulgence as they make their way home.”
Kim-Joy, baker and TV personality, added: “As someone who loves to bake, I know there’s something super comforting about a freshly baked treat. That’s what makes Galaxy’s bakery such a fun idea.
“It brought a little bit of baked joy to commuters right when they need a boost of happiness most.”
The new products were designed to bring classic favourites within the bakery aisle to the confectionery brand’s lineup.
Galaxy has recently expanded its portfolio with a range of innovative products, recently launching Hot Chocolate and Toppings Sachets.
