Coca-Cola HBC reported a strong performance for first half

The bottling partner of the Coca-Cola company, Coca-Cola HBC has reported a solid performance for the six months ended on 3 July 2026.

The company’s reported revenue increased by 10.8 per cent to approximately £5.3bn, which was driven by strong organic growth.

The first quarter was boosted by four additional selling days, and Q2 volumes grew on an underlying basis to 5.8 per cent, which is underpinned by broad-based strength across all segments.

Coca-Cola HBC’s operating profit grew by 15.9 per cent to approximately £639m, compared with £551m in the same period last year.

The company’s organic volume increased by 7.5 per cent in the first half, which was driven by sparkling and energy at 6.4 per cent and 26.1 per cent, respectively.

During the period the company produced strong engagement with FIFA World Cup activations across the markets, including special-edition Coca-Cola and Powerade packs.

Additionally, Coca-Cola HBC has launched a new visual identity of Coke Zero Sugar Caffeine across 18 markets and saw strong double-digit volume growth.

Zoran Bogdanovic, CEO of Coca-Cola HBC AG, said: “Building on our long-standing growth trajectory, we are pleased to report a strong first-half performance. This momentum reflects our excellence, continued investment in our bespoke capabilities, and the strength of our 24/7 portfolio.

“Innovation played a key role in driving growth, with exciting activity across Sparkling, Monster and Powerade.

“Given our strong first half, we are upgrading our 2026 guidance today. The macroeconomic and geopolitical environment remains challenging and unpredictable, but we are confident that our portfolio, capabilities and people position us to continue to win in the market and create value.”

The business is on track to complete the acquisition of Coca-Cola Beverage Africa in the second half of 2026.

Coca-Cola HBC’s organic revenue growth is now expected to be in the top end of the 6 per cent to 7 per cent range.
