Independent beer brand Two Tribes unveils new identity
Independent brewery Two Tribes has unveiled a new brand identity across its range to invest in growth and double down on its expansion in the UK.
The brand was founded in 2017 and grew from a King’s Cross start-up into an established independent name in London.
The refreshed business identity was developed in collaboration with design studio All Purpose, which aims to replace the previous look with a bolder visual world which is centred around the brewery’s new brand platform, Brewing Wonder.
This move comes as the independent beer sector is dealing with rising costs and the brewery is investing in its brands to grow its overall footprint.
Ted Heffernan, co-founder and creative director of All Purpose said: “The identity reinterprets the visual language and typographic vernacular of classic beer labels. We wanted to play with this familiarity; each beer took on its own identity through custom typography, colour and a shape-driven graphic system.

“We’ve gone bold, an identity designed to hold its own alongside big names in beer, while still feeling unmistakably premium and independent.”
The refreshed design is set to launch across the brand’s full core range, including Campfire (hazy IPA), Dream (pale ale) and Super Deluxe.
Aaron Duffett, commercial director at Two Tribes added: “With hospitality costs rising and some brewers scaling back, we’re doing the opposite. We’re investing in the brand and backing the independent pubs and bars that built us.
“We’re seeing drinkers move away from the big established craft names towards independent, local brands they can trust, and that demand is exactly where we want to meet them.”
Two Tribes is available for purchase at major supermarket retailers Sainsbury’s, M&S, Waitrose and Tesco for a recommended retail price of £2.50.
The new-look core range is also available on draught at Campfire, The Standard London, The Royal Opera House and other independent pubs.
