Ginsters MD named interim CEO of Higgidy
Ginsters managing director Emma Stowers will led savoury pastry brand Higgidy as interim CEO, as Rachel Kelley is set to depart.
Kelley was in charge of Higgidy’s successful transition into Samworth Brothers, following its purchase of a minority stake in June 2019, before taking a controlling majority stake in January 2021. She has been credited for the brand’s growth and innovation.
During her tenure, Higgidy unveiled a bold new pack design across its savoury pastry range, aimed at tempting shoppers with a clearer view of its flavour-filled products.
She was also responsible for expanding distribution through new channels, such as with British Airways and subscription box Gousto.
