Deliveroo reports surge in late-night matches during England games
Late-night orders surged by nearly 50 per cent as the England and Norway match extended into extra time, according to the latest figures from Deliveroo.
The pizza and burger orders went up by nearly two-thirds as fans choose to continue celebrations into the early hours of the morning.
The morning after England’s most recent win against Norway, rehydration drink and juice orders surged with Deliveroo orders increasing by nearly 70 per cent.
Deliveroo reported that orders of popcorn and crisps went up by nearly 30 per cent and 15 per cent as shoppers prepared to watch matches at home.

Additionally, fry orders had increased by nearly 7 per cent, and Doncaster had the most morning-after orders, which surged by nearly 70 per cent.
During England’s game against Mexico, coffee orders more than doubled during the wait time for the 2am kick-off.
Additionally, Deliveroo’s orders nearly doubled during the England and Mexico match compared to the same period in the week prior.
The delivery platform extended its delivery hours at Nando’s, Asda, Sainsbury’s and Morrisons to allow consumers to continue shopping later on into the night.
