The Kraft Heinz company has announced multiple changes to its global operating structure to improve results and help to accelerate business growth.

From 1 July onwards, the company will separate into three regions: North America, Europe and Pacific Developed Markets (EPDM) and Emerging Markets.

As part of the new structure, the business will merge the Asia Emerging Markets and West and East Emerging Markets into one region, which will be led by Marcel Regis, who will take on the role of regional president, Emerging Markets.

The European countries which have been previously included in the West and East Emerging Markets will now transfer into the EPDM.

As part of the new changes, Cory Onell, chief omnichannel sales & Asia Emerging Markets Officer and Flavio Torres, global chief supply chain officer, are set to transition from their roles and stay onboard in an advisory position.

Steve Cahillane, CEO of Kraft Heinz, said: “We are building momentum across many areas of the business, and this regional structure will help us meaningfully accelerate and scale our progress.
