LA Foods and Co-op Wholesale expand partnership
Co-op Wholesale and LA Foods have extended their contract by a further 5 years, which marks over 25 years of their partnership.
The company currently operates 13 London-based stores under the Nisa fascia franchise, and the convenience stores will continue to stock the Co-op private-label range.
LA Foods recently opened the doors to a renovated Nisa store which is located in Queens Crescent to offer a larger and more modern design.
Additionally, the refurbished store has a significantly expanded chilled range, placed electronic shelf edge labels to streamline operations and food-to-go (FTG) solutions.

Paul Webster, partnerships and sales director at Co-op Wholesale, said: “We are pleased to share that LA Foods Group has chosen to extend its contract with us for a further five years.
“We look forward to supporting the growth of additional Nisa-affiliated stores in the future. We have built a great collaborative partnership with LA Foods and its team, and we are confident this will continue to go from strength to strength in the years ahead.”
LA Foods has previously donated £3,500 from funds raised through the Co-op Wholesale’s charity Making a Difference Locally (MADL) to Eleanor Palmer Primary School and an additional £1,000 to Gospel Oak Primary School.
This partnership expansion builds on Co-op Wholesale’s mission to support independent retailers and convenience stores.
