The Jolly Hog has partnered with British condiments brands Marmite and Colman’s Mustard to launch two premium sausage packs.

The new range builds on the success of retail brand collaborations, which aims to bring innovation into the UK sausage category.

Jolly Hog’s new product pairs popular British condiments Marmite and Colman’s with pork to reinvent classics for a new generation.

Olly Kohn, co-founder of The Jolly Hog, said: “We wanted to bring some real excitement to the sausage aisle by pairing proper British bangers with flavours that people already know and love. Marmite and Colman’s are instantly recognisable, and there’s a strong sense of nostalgia around them.

“For us, it really is Britain’s greatest pairing. This launch combines banging British flavours with high-quality, outdoor-bred pork to create something that feels both familiar and genuinely new for shoppers.”

This comes as the UK sausage category continues to grow, with data showing sausage volumes rising by 2.9 per cent year on year.

Melissa Wimble, licensing manager at Unilever, added: “This partnership has been in development for a number of years, so seeing Marmite and Colman’s sausages heading into stores is a real milestone.”

The Jolly Hog Colman’s sausage will be on shelves from 18 March, and The Jolly Hog Marmite sausage launch on 30 March in Ocado, Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Waitrose for £4.50 per 400g pack.
