Aldi has revealed the best times for shoppers to purchase from stores ahead of the Easter weekend.

The discount retailer advised customers to pick up their Easter shopping in the early morning between 8am and 9am or later in the evening between 7pm and 10pm.

Aldi will remain fully open and operational between 8am and 9pm on Good Friday and Easter Saturday before closing briefly on Easter Sunday (5 April).

The retailer will reopen on Easter Monday from 8am to 8pm, which may vary according to local timings over the weekend.

This announcement comes after the retailer recently launched an expanded hot cross bun range in January ahead of Easter.

Aldi will also be bringing back its seasonal range of confectionery in stores.
