Co-op is bringing back its £1 Costa Express drinks offer, with the promotion set to run every Friday throughout October.

From 2 to 30 October, shoppers will be able to pick up any regular Costa Express drink for £1 across 1,694 Co-op stores fitted with a Costa Express machine.

The offer includes coffee, tea and hot chocolate, with customers able to save up to 76% compared with usual prices.

Co-op said the promotion follows a strong response to its previous £1 Costa Express deal and forms part of its wider push to offer more value across frequently purchased convenience categories.

Co-op retail customer director Rachel Halter said: “We’re a nation of coffee lovers, and our shoppers loved this amazing offer last time we did it, so it’s great to be able to extend it to every Friday in October and in more stores this time too.

“At Co-op we are all about offering great products at great value, and a Costa Express coffee for £1 is the perfect example.”

Costa Express drinks at Co-op are normally priced between £2.40 and £4.15, with more than 40 hot and cold options available, including Americanos, lattes, cappuccinos and flat whites.

The drinks are made using Costa Coffee’s Signature Mocha Italia Blend beans and real milk, with syrups also included in the promotion.

Co-op has operated Costa Express machines in its stores since 2018.

It said customers can use its online store finder to locate their nearest branch with a Costa Express machine.
