Graham said: “Kraft Heinz is home to some of the most iconic brands in the UK & Ireland, and I’m excited to join the business at such an important time.

“I’m looking forward to working closely with our customers and teams to build strong partnerships, sharpen our commercial execution and deliver growth that creates shared value with our customers.”

Marta Pilczuk, MD UK & Ireland at Kraft Heinz, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Michael to Kraft Heinz. His breadth of experience across markets, customers and categories, combined with his strong people leadership, will be a real asset to our UK & Ireland business.”

The news comes after the major FMCG manufacturer announced plans to pause on its restructuring last week.

Kraft Heinz had planned to split into two standalone public entities as the newly placed CEO Steve Cahillane aimed to stabilise performance and restore growth.
