“Facing regulatory pressure resulting in wage inflation, uncertainty over HFSS legislation and cost headwinds from key ingredients, we have successfully outperformed the market and increased our branded sweet biscuit market share.”
According to the company, innovation helped to increase the brand’s performance throughout the year, with new product development based on trending flavours, including launching the viral Dubai-style biscuit variant.
Moving forward, the business plans to grow its international footprint following the successful debut of Jammie Dodgers in Australia and an increased presence in the Middle East.
