Mars names new global VP of supply
Food and drinks manufacturer Mars has appointed Chris Sackree as the global vice president of supply for Mars Food & Nutrition, effective on 3 April.
Sackree is set to succeed Dale Creaser, who will retire from the business after serving in various roles for nearly three decades. Sackree will report directly to the global president of Food & Nutrition, Shaid Shah.
Shah said: “I’m delighted to announce Chris’ appointment and welcome him to the global leadership team for Mars Food & Nutrition.
“Chris joined Mars 18 years ago and has consistently delivered excellent operational performance across markets and categories, underpinned by a deep commitment to driving quality and safety.”

Sackree joined the Food & Nutrition business in 2022 as global value chain operations VP, where he played an important role in leading the department.
He started in the operations department in the UK for Mars Pet Nutrition and held numerous supply chain roles within the wider organisation.
The former global VP of supply, Creaser, worked in the role at Food & Nutrition since 2022, where he oversaw the category’s supply transformation and led its refreshed business strategy.
The news comes as the business named Tim Mooney as the general manager for the UK & Ireland last month.
