Aldi achieved record sales over Christmas season
Aldi reported £1.65bn in sales in the four weeks to Christmas Eve, a 3% increase from the previous year.
The discounter saw sales grow by over 5% in the week leading to Christmas, with customers spending around £500m.
Aldi recorded 57m transactions in the four weeks to Christmas Eve, the highest ever figure.
Additionally, the demand for the private-label specially selected premium range increased by over 12%, and Aldi sold over 5.5m bottles.

The supermarket retailer committed to offering the lowest possible prices during Christmas as part of a £325m investment to keep shopping affordable throughout the year.
Hurley added: “As we move into 2026, our focus remains unchanged, keeping prices low and quality high so that every household in Britain can enjoy amazing food all year round.”
