Co-op Wholesale has announced a renewal of its supplier partnership with forecourt retailer Tout Group.

The move builds on a five-year partnership with the forecourt operator, with Tout Group relying on the convenience retailer’s wide range of products.

Moving forward, Co-op Wholesale plans to support Tout Group as it expands its forecourt estate and moves towards more convenience-led sites.

This is part of Co-op Wholesale’s strategy to grow its retail supplier partnerships, recently renewing multiple agreements with its partners.

Paul Webster, Co-op Wholesale sales director, said: “Tout’s are a bold, forward‑thinking operator with a clear vision for the future of forecourt retail.

“Supporting their journey has been fantastic, and we’re excited to keep building with them as they grow and lead the sector forward.”

Tout’s CEO Jonathan Tout said the wholesaler gave the business the “quality, ambition and support” which was needed to further support the business.

This is part of the wholesale supplier’s commitment to supporting independent retailers.

In October, Co-op Wholesale announced the launch of a ‘Cracking Christmas Deals’ festive campaign to help independent retailers improve seasonal sales and achieve profitability in a competitive market.

The retailer is offering deals to its supply partners to allow for them to receive competitive rates during the busy festive season.
