Asda launches giant Tree Shaped Yorkshire Puddings
Supermarket chain Asda is launching Christmas tree-shaped Yorkshire puddings as part of its festive season menu from 27 November onwards.
Asda made the decision to launch its own-label giant Christmas Tree Yorkshire Puddings, after searches for the food product went up by 433% within the past month.
Meg Sugden, product developer at Asda said: “Yorkshire puddings are a firm favourite with our customers all year round, but over the festive period, they become non-negotiable – with many describing them as a ‘must-buy’.

“So instead of keeping them on the sidelines, we turned them into the main event, and shaped them like actual Christmas trees. Whether you’re Team Turkey or proudly Team Trimmings, this year, make room on your plate to really treat yourself!”
Shoppers can buy two giant Yorkshires for £3.50 as part of Asda’s festive season range on the retailer’s website and in stores.
Additionally, the retailer has launched a new Gravy Mayo, which builds on the previous year’s success of Roast Potato Mayo.
This is part of the supermarket retailer’s plan to add innovation to classic Christmas dishes as part of its commitment to creating new products for consumers.
