Iceland Foods grows Ireland presence with Dunnes partnership
Frozen food retailer Iceland Foods has doubled the number of store-within-a-store (SWAS) concessions in Ireland as part of a partnership with retailer Dunnes.
Iceland Foods opened four new concessions in Dunnes stores recently, launching in Ennis last month on 30 October. The frozen food retailer also opened concessions at Charlestown, Clondalkin and Marshes on 31 October, 5 November and 7 November, respectively.
This move aims to strengthen the retailer’s partnership with Dunnes and expand its footprint in Ireland.

Justin Addison, international and partnerships director at Iceland Foods said: “We’re excited to announce that we’re doubling the number of concessions in Ireland by bolstering our partnership with Dunnes.
“Through opening another four, we’re making Iceland products more accessible for Irish customers so they can enjoy our incredible deals across everyday essentials and exclusive brands.”
He added: “Our partnership with Dunnes is vital to expanding Iceland’s presence beyond UK borders. With both retailers sharing similar values and goals, we’re committed to growing this partnership well into the future.”
The UK retailer now operates eight concessions in Ireland through the partnership with Dunnes, with over 200 products at each location.
Iceland Foods currently serves as a supplier to over 70 Dunnes stores and first opened its concessions last year in October.
