Morrisons supersizes biscuits in new bakery range
Morrisons has unveiled a new bakery range combining nostalgic favourites with a twist on viral food trends.
The grocery retailer is scaling up two biscuits, launching supersized versions of Bourbons and Custard Creams at £2 each.
Alongside these products, Morrisons has also added a filled croissant line to its Cakeshop, inspired by the social media-famous ‘Sando’.

It is understood customers can choose between Jam, Cream & Raspberry or Jam, Cream & Almond, priced at £1.50.
Other additions include sharing packs of loaded brownies (£3 for four), two new ‘The Best’ focaccia rolls to elevate Italian-style meals (£1 for two), and a Caramelised Biscuit Cake at £1.
The new launch follows rival supermarkets revamping their own baked goods lines over the summer, with M&S launching ‘strawberries and cream sando’ in June, and Tesco revealing a new limited edition birthday sandwich earlier this month.
