BP’s Wildbean Café hits record sales amid menu relaunch
BP’s food-to-go brand, Wildbean Cafe, has recorded its highest-ever weekly food sales following the launch of a refreshed breakfast and lunch menu across more than 300 BP-owned locations in the UK.
The new range, introduced at the end of April, includes heat-to-eat meals, fresh pastries, and sweet treats, which BP says have been developed to meet the growing demand for quality, flavour and convenience among on-the-go customers.
The forecourt giant said the move saw it experience a record-breaking sales week from 5 May, with double-digit volume growth and strong early performance from hero products such as the BBQ Southern Fried Chicken Wrap, which has quickly become a bestseller.
“This new range is a true reflection of what Wildbean Cafe stands for: great taste, quality ingredients and a fresh, forward-thinking approach to food on the go,” said BP UK convenience trading director Hannah Munns.

“It’s all part of how we’re working towards becoming first choice for customers on the roadside.”
The business said the new range was developed in-house, using feedback from customers and insights from food specialists, with product testing carried out at its dedicated development kitchen in Sunbury-on-Thames.
The launch follows the unveiling of a new-look Wildbean Café concept earlier this year at BP’s EV charging and convenience hub in Hammersmith, signalling the brand’s wider ambitions to modernise and grow in the UK’s competitive food-to-go market.
The refreshed offer is now available at over 300 forecourt sites, supporting BP’s ongoing strategy to enhance its convenience offer as part of a broader transformation across its UK retail estate.
