Nisa, the wholesale arm of the Co-operative Group, has appointed Morrisons head of convenience projects Brogan Cook as its new delivery lead. The move is designed to accelerate the implementation of corporate customer projects for the brand.

Cook, who joined Nisa director of sales and retail Katie Secretan’s leadership team this month (February 2025), brings over a decade of experience in retail at supermarket Morrisons to the role.

Most recently Cook acted as Morrisons head of convenience for strategic projects, however, she also held other roles at the business including senior operations manager and programme manager.

Secretan said: “We’re at a pivotal moment for our Co-op’s wholesale business, with ambitious growth targets in place, and Brogan’s proven track record in convenience and franchise operations, as well as her strategic leadership, will be invaluable as we continue to deliver growth with our partners.”

Cook added: “I’m excited to be joining Nisa as delivery lead during such a dynamic period for the business. I look forward to applying my experience to lead the delivery of new business within the convenience channel, ensuring we deliver a best-in-class service for our retail partners across the UK.”

Cook’s hiring follows a number of recent senior appointments and departures at the convenience retailer. In January, Nisa appointed PepsiCo sales director Paul Webster as its new head of partnerships as part of the convenience retailer’s commitment to driving innovation within its strategic partner base.

Meanwhile, last December, the business saw managing director Peter Batt and commercial director Ayaz Alam step down.
