Vass brings over 25 years of experience in the food and drink industry to the chilled dessert brand, including her current role as chief executive for snack manufacturer Ecotone, formerly Kallo Foods.

The move comes as CEO Peter Utting has decided to retire after more than six years at the company, and more than 35 years in the food and drink industry.

Utting said: “I’m excited to see all the great things Gü will continue to accomplish. I would also like to thank the Dean family as the owner of Noble Foods for giving me for giving me the opportunity to lead this business and latterly with Exponent, who have been a tremendous support over the last three years”

The London-based premium desserts brand was founded in 2003, and has since had its ramekine products rise in popularity among consumers, hitting over £73.3m in sales.

In 2022, the FMCG spent £4.5m on a rebrand in an aim to double its global business by 2025, by an “impressive investment in brand, people and innovation.”
