Aldi predicts quietest days to shop ahead of Christmas
Aldi is predicting that Tuesday 17 and Sunday 22 December will be the quietest days to visit stores ahead of the busy Christmas period.
For those looking to shop last-minute before the big day, Aldi also expects Monday 23 and Tuesday 24 to be quieter days in its UK stores.
Meanwhile, throughout the week, the discounter has said the least busy shopping hours are typically between 8pm and 10pm for those looking to avoid the festive rush.

Aldi UK communications director Richard Thornton said: “For many of us, Christmas is all about coming together to share special moments – often over delicious food and drinks with loved ones.
“At Aldi, we’re here to make your celebrations unforgettable, offering everything you need to create a festive feast that is both affordable and of great quality. This way, you can focus on what truly matters: spending time with one another.”
It comes as the discount grocer is cutting the prices of festive vegetable staples to 15p as part of its Christmas Super Six promotion, from 19 to 24 December in its UK stores.
The offer will roll out across white potatoes, carrots, parsnips, red and white cabbages, Brussels sprouts, and broccoli.
