Asda is rolling out new woodfired pizzas, Bistro range gastro dishes and Bom Bahia curries as shoppers opt for home comforts.

The supermarket giant has launched four new premium, hand-stretched Italian-style woodfired sourdough pizzas including Margherita, Salsiccia Piccante & ‘Nduja, Chicken Arrabiata, and Proscuitto Funghi at £4.75 each.

Asda product development manager Kathryn Saveall said: “We are so proud to see these pizzas launch on our pizza counters, we hope they will give customers a taste of an authentic restaurant style Italian pizza but without the hefty price tag, my personal favourite is the prosciutto funghi – the mascarpone & garlic roasted mushrooms are just delicious and go so well with the prosciutto cotto.”

New starter dishes include Mac & Cheese with Smokey Ketchup and Cod Fish Cakes with Tartare Sauce, while Chocolate Caramel Profiteroles are the latest dessert option, all of which cost £4 individually.

Meanwhile, new main dishes in Asda’s premium Bom Bahia range include Chicken Tikka Masala, Kashmiri Chicken Korma, Garlic Chicken Balti, and King Prawn Bhuna at £5 each, while side dishes include Garlic & Coriander Naan Bread, Lamb Samosas, Onion Bhajis, Chicken Chaat Kachori, and Aloo Tikka Bites.
