Tesco and Aldi have unveiled their festive sandwiches, offering shoppers a taste of Christmas before the big day.

Tesco will launch its Christmas Meal Deal range on 21 October, featuring eight new products across its core and premium meal deals.

The new additions include the Christmas Cracking Currywurst Sub, the Ho-Ho-Hog Wrap and Plant Chef Christmas Veg Fest Wrap.

The Premium Meal Deal, priced at £5 for Clubcard holders, introduces three new seasonal options: Finest Festive Chicken & Bacon Wrap with Gravy Mayonnaise Dip, Festive Chicken, Bacon & Stuffing Mayo Baguette, and Finest Turkey BLT.

Tesco has also expanded its range of festive snacks, including Mini Christmas Bangers with Gravy Mayo Dip and Christmassy Chicken Bites with Festive Cranberry Dip.

Aldi has also launched its Christmas sandwich range, which is available in stores now.

Its new festive lineup includes a Christmas Club Triple Sandwich (£2.39) and Smoked Chicken & The Trimmings Toastie (£1.89).

The supermarket is also bringing back popular items from previous years, such as the Specially Selected Seafood Cocktail Bloomer (£2.69), which was shortlisted at the Quality Food Awards 2024. Vegetarian and vegan options are also available, including the Brie & Cranberry Chutney Sandwich (£1.99) and the Vegan Festive Feast Sandwich (£1.99).
