Aldi has named Card Factory as its official supplier of cards for its UK and Irish store estate.

The multi-year agreement will see the gifting specialist supply the discounter’s rapidly expanding 1,200 store estate with card ranges.

Card Factory currently supplies 550 Aldi stores in the UK following its initial partnership from 2019, which saw the cards retailer launch in half of its stores and sharing the supplier contract with IG Design Group.

It is the latest partnership from Card Factory, which revealed last month that it had teamed up with Just Eat to offer a rapid delivery service for greetings cards and celebration essentials nationwide.

The tie-up has gone live in 19 of the retailer’s stores across the UK, including Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, London, Belfast and Cardiff, and will be extended to an additional 21 shops later this year.
