Accolade Wines-owned Grant Burge has collaborated with creative studio Krink to craft a limited edition pack for its wine brand, Barossa Ink.

‘Krink x Barossa Ink Limited Edition Shiraz’ will be exclusively available at Waitrose, Asda, Morrisons, Sainsbury’s and Tesco, for RRP £11.

Barossa Ink was first debuted by Grant Burge Wines in 2012, adding to Accolade Wine’s portfolio. Since its launch, the Ink by Grant Burge range has experienced 52% volume growth over the past four years, and in the UK it is up 12.4% in value in the past year alone.

The launch of the limited edition product will be supported by digital content, online and in-store, as well as a media event, paid-for influencer activity and hypeboxes.

Accolade Wines Europe marketing director Tom Smith said: “Barossa Ink Shiraz has garnered a dedicated following. We anticipate that this limited-edition pack will not only resonate with our loyal consumers but also attract a younger, creative audience to the brand.”

“The Grant Burge Wines brand ethos of ‘Leave Your Mark’ aligns seamlessly with KRINK and his artistic style. We are thrilled to collaborate and introduce this disruptive limited-edition design.”

The collaboration marks Krink founder and New York City-based artist Craig Costello’s first partnership with a wine brand.

Costello added: “Collaborating with Barossa Ink was a natural fit — we are both are creatively developing formulas to make something special. It was great to incorporate my drip aesthetic with Barossa Ink’s existing branding to design something visually unique.”
