Pladis, the parent company for snacking brands including McVitie’s and Godiva, has reported mixed annual results for the year ended on 31 December 2025, with revenue increasing by 1.2 per cent to £3.3bn.

Branded sales accounted for approximately 90 per cent of revenue, which reflects the strength of its portfolio according to the business and continued brand investment.

During the financial year, McVitie’s reached the milestone of 100 years of chocolate digestives, which showcases the long-standing presence of the brand.

According to the business, the 2025 results were negatively impacted by overall price inflation, currency volatility and macroeconomic challenges.

Pladis’ full-year EBITDA decreased to £473.7m compared with £494.5m in the year prior. Additionally, the company’s operating profit reduced to £301.6m from £344.4m last year.

Sridhar Ramamurthy, chief financial officer, Pladis, said: ”Pladis delivered a resilient performance in 2025, growing revenue to £3.3bn and maintaining market-leading positions in the UK, Türkiye, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and elsewhere.

“This reflects the enduring strength of our branded portfolio and the focus and commitment of our teams around the world. It was achieved in a year that tested every part of the food industry – from commodity inflation and currency volatility to broader macroeconomic headwinds.

“We are building from a strong commercial platform, and our priorities remain clear: to keep building our brands, bring innovation to scale, accelerate digitalisation and manage cost, cash and capital with rigour.”

During the year the business invested £100.5m in capital expenditure to improve capacity, productivity, efficiency and resilience across its entire operations.

In the Americas region, the FMCG company executed a plan to simplify its manufacturing footprint over the year, which aimed to support a more resilient and efficient platform for growth.

Moving forward, the company plans to expand its international footprint by growing within the China market as it looks to scale in high-potential areas.
