Aldi redesigns meal planner hub to support cash-strapped shoppers

Aldi has redesigned and refreshed its meal planner hub in a bid to help shoppers struggling through the cost of living crisis eat a healthy and varied diet.

The discounter’s new meal planner page will offer a variety of inspirational recipes for breakfast, lunch and dinner in an aim to make it easier for customer to plan their weekly meal.

Aldi communications director Richard Thornton said: “We know that the cost-of-living crisis continues to be a challenge for shoppers across the UK and that’s why we are more committed than ever to offering the lowest possible prices, while also doing whatever we can to support our customers.

“The aim of the meal plan hub is to provide customers with inspiration, while also ensuring that they can enjoy a varied and healthy diet, all at an affordable price.”

It follows the supermarket’s move last year when it launched its budgeting advice hub, Amazing Savings, to aid shoppers by providing hints, tips, tricks to make the most of their budget during the cost-of-living crisis.
