Tesco rolls out first-ever compostable haircare range

Tesco is rolling out its first-ever compostable hair care range as it introduces new sustainable personal care standalone bays.

From this week (26 February), shoppers will have the opportunity to purchase sustainable natural body care brand Wild’s products in stores across the country.

The new launch adds to Wild’s existing range of deodorants stocked in the retailer but introduces an exclusive eco-friendly haircare range that comes with a plastic-free ‘case for life’ and compostable refills.

The new rollout will also be bolstered by in-store marketing as, out of 744 Tesco locations, 69 stores will feature bespoke and fully branded Wild bays, while the rest will be equipped with branded shelf trays showcasing Wild’s products.

Alongside the exclusive hair care, which is only available at the supermarket and not on Wild’s website, the brand has also released a new body wash line, available on its website.
