Tesco has become the first UK supermarket to stock model and media personality Kendall Jenner’s premium 818 Tequila brand.
The 70cl product, which is crafted from 100% Blue Weber agave, will be rolling out in 643 of the retailer’s stores and will also be available online via Tesco.com for £43.
Tequila has been a hot product for the grocer over the last year, with more than 1.2m bottles sold – a 28% increase year on year.

“I’m really pleased that we’re now bringing the multi-award-winning spirit to Tesco stores nationwide, to help customers looking to explore and enjoy the agave-based spirit category.”
In December, basketball icon LeBron James’ tequila brand Lobos 1707 Tequila & Mezcal launched in the UK.
Founded by the basketball star and chief creative officer Diego Osorio, the premium spirit brand rolled out in Selfridges following its international debut in Dubai earlier last year.
