Waitrose partners with Biscuiteers for exclusive Valentine’s range

Waitrose has partnered with Biscuiteers for an exclusive biscuit and bouquet Valentine’s range.

Waitrose customers will be able to choose from two red rose bouquets that come with hand-decorated love heart biscuits from luxury gifting brand Biscuiteers.

The ‘Valentine’s Day Dozen Romantic Red Roses & Love Heart Biscuit’ and ‘Valentine’s Day Gift-Wrapped Red Rose & Love Heart Biscuit’ are available for £55 and £35 respectively.

Both come accompanied by sweet treats from the premium biscuit gifting brand as well as a selection of Waitrose Foundation red roses.

Through its Foundation initiative, the upmarket grocer pledges to invest 2% of the sale of each product back into the community it came from.

Waitrose Florist buyer Danielle Collier said: “We’re delighted to have collaborated with Biscuiteers to offer Waitrose Florist customers the addition of a beautifully hand-decorated biscuit on two of our Valentine’s bouquets – this Love Heart Biscuit is the perfect accompaniment to go with our stunning Foundation roses.

“We know that our customers are planning ahead with searches for ‘Valentine’s’ on the up on Waitrose.com, and with these bouquets already available through Florist, we’ve made it easy to send these beautiful gifts directly to that special someone’s door.”

Biscuiteers founder and CEO Harriet Hastings said: “We are delighted to be partnering with Waitrose on a new exclusive design for Valentine’s Day.  Biscuits and flowers – what could be sweeter!”

Alongside the Biscuiteers partnered floral bouquets, the supermarket is also offering other Valentine’s Day flowers, including Valentine’s Day Rose & Lily Bouquet, No.1 Valentine’s Day Orchid with Heart-Shaped Willow, Valentine’s Day Pink & Lilac Tonal Roses and the No.1 Valentine’s Day Scented Roses Gift Bag.

Last year the retailer launched wrap-free flower bouquets for Valentine’s Day as it attempted to limit unecessary packaging and single use plastics.
