Vegan brand Deliciously Ella is launching in Asda and Co-op meaning its plant-based food range will soon be sold in every major UK supermarket chain.

In an interview with The Times, founder Ella Mills revealed that the plant-based food range – which includes over 100 nutrition-focused products – will now be available from all UK supermarkets in time for Veganuary.

“From January they’ll be stocked by Asda and Co-op — that’s every supermarket chain in the country,” said Mills.

The Deliciously Ella range, which includes popular items such as a variety of different granolas, cereal bars and nut bites, is currently stocked at retailers including Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons and Waitrose.

Other retailers to stock Deliciously Ella include specialist health and wellbeing chain Holland and Barrett and online retailer Ocado.

The announcement coincides with Mills’ unveiling a new recipe book, Healthy Made Simple, which aims to encourage more people to consume and incorporate nutritious and healthier vegan recipes and products.

Mills added: “The total cost of obesity to our economy is £98bn. It’s really difficult in a cost-of-living crisis, and in some parts of the UK we can’t get fresh ingredients, but we need to eat more vegetables more of the time.”
