The East of England Co-op has launched a new app and shopping platform to allow customers to access the retailer’s full range online.
Shoppers can order their weekly shop and select a delivery slot from one of the convenience retailer’s 25 stores via the app and platform, The Retail Bulletin reported.
The changes make East of England Co-op the first Co-op food retailer in the UK with its own app and the first regional co-operative to have its own shopping platform.

The grocer has also teamed up with Just Eat to offer a rapid delivery service across 53 stores in Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex and Cambridgeshire.
This will allow shoppers to order their groceries via the Just Eat app which will be picked and delivered from their local store in as little as 20 minutes.
East of England Co-op head of ecommerce Matt Adamson said he was “immensely proud” of the retailer’s new app and online shopping platform, adding that alongside the new partnership with Just Eat, it is “able to offer our customers a great variety of online shopping options”.
“After significant development and a successful trial, our new platform allows customers access to our full range, including Sourced Locally produce from local producers, setting us apart from other online shopping retailers. And of course, they can still earn dividend points.”
