Morrisons launches campaign to champion Christmas hosts

Morrisons has teamed up with Immediate Media brands BBC Good Food and Radio Times to celebrate Christmas hosts with a multi-platform campaign and competition.

‘The Host with the Most’ awards urges the nation to nominate festive hosts for categories including ‘show-stopping centrepieces’, ‘prep like a pro’ and ‘love your leftovers’, acknowledged by a panel of expert judges from Immediate Media’s food team and Morrisons.

A dedicated microsite will include a definitive guide to hosting tips from the winners, recipe inspiration and expert knowledge from BBC Good Food experts.

The campaign will be shared across platforms including Radio Times.com, BBC Good Food with a print advertorial in its Christmas issue, as well as via TikTok.

Morrisons head of digital marketing and content Jodie Locking said: “This Christmas – and every Christmas – we believe that great British food should be the star of the show but we know there’s always a lot to do to get the festive meal ready.

“That’s why we’re delighted to have partnered with Immediate Media’s brands, including BBC Good Food, to celebrate hosts as they prepare their feasts for Christmas Day. We want to help make this Christmas as stress-free as possible for the hosting heroes and worthy winners of The Host with the Most awards.”

Last month, the supermarket giant launched its 2023 festive advert which centres on a pair of oven gloves that come alive to sing their support for hosts and chefs as they prepare celebratory feasts for Christmas day.
