Sainsbury’s has partnered with Just Eat to trial the first-ever ‘Christmas Picky Bits’ delivery store in London.
Open from 8 to 10 December, the shop allows customers to create a ‘picky bits’ meal across vegetarian, vegan and meat options.
Those ordering can personalise their festive spread across a selection of the grocer’s Taste the Difference range including pigs in blankets, an antipasti platter or brie and cranberry tarts, as well as sweet treats such as chocolate or mince pies.

The nibbles can be ordered from the ‘Just Eat x Sainsbury’s’ store in areas in and around Bermondsey and Wood Green, exclusively via the rapid grocery delivery firm’s website or app.
Each curated bundle is priced at £10, with sales donated to charity partners Social Bite and FoodCycle.
The launch of the store comes as research from Just Eat found that tucking into picky bits is one of the most popular festive traditions for 77% of Brits, overtaking opening presents for 59%, attending parties for 22% and carolling for 15%.
Gen Z were found to be driving this meal type as 44% have been influenced by viral social phenomena such as TikTok’s ‘Girl Dinner’.
