Tesco to stock YouTube stars The Sidemen’s XIX Vodka

Tesco stores are set to stock YouTube sensation The Sidemen XIX Vodka as influencer-led brands continue to flourish.

XIX Vodka will be available at the grocer from 7 November in selected large and Express stores. It will also be the first time the XIX Vodka Mixed Berry cans will be available for general sale.

The label recently announced that a variety of different flavours will be introduced across it’s ready-to-drink (RTD) range of cans and vodka bottles, which were first teased at the YouTube stars’ charity football match and sold at The Sidemen member KSI’s recent boxing match with Tommy Fury.

The Sidemen are among the most high-profile personalities on the internet. Since their launch ten years ago, they have amassed more than 130m combined subscribers on YouTube.

Last year, Morrisons became the first retailer to stock The Sidemen’s XIX Vodka in over 300 of its stores, making it the first time ever a Sidemen product was launched in a UK supermarket.

It comes as influencers become a force to be reckoned with in consumer goods with Prime, which was founded by YouTubers Logan Paul and KSI, experiencing a huge jump in sales this year.

Prime is now become the fourth best-selling sports drink in the world.

XIX Vodka marketing director Phil Neale said: “Since the Sidemen started making content together, their fan base has grown up alongside them and we saw at The Sidemen Charity Match how mature and varied their core fan base is.

“XIX Vodka is a quality product and the future products we have lined up are exceptional. The Sidemen’s brands share Tesco’s relentless customer focus and we’re very proud to launch XIX Vodka nationwide with them.”
