Uber Eats is set to launch two new features on its UK app, the ‘AI assistant’ and a ‘Sales Aisle’, that look to help shoppers save time and money.
Later this year, the rapid grocery delivery company is rolling out an AI-powered conversational shopping experience that will allow shoppers to chat with an assistant to explore new dishes and cuisines, find restaurant deals and re-order their favourite meals.
The ‘AI assistant’ will include features such as meal plans, helping to find sales on grocery items and ordering ingredients for recipes while sticking to a budget.

Uber Eats is also launching a ‘Sales Aisle’ which will allow shoppers to quickly access a curated selection of the best ways to save.
The aisle combines promotions and deals into one space, giving users all the necessary information without having them scroll through the app.
This comes as Majestic has launched a partnership with Uber Eats to offer its range of wines, beers and spirits through the speedy delivery app.
This follows a similar move by Waitrose in July as it teamed up with Uber Eats for a multi-year partnership aiming to deliver groceries in as little as 20 minutes.
As of August, the rapid delivery service rolled out to more than 200 of the upmarket retailer’s stores.
