Mars Wrigley UK and England Football have renewed their partnership, as Kind and Extra become new joint partners for the 2023-24 season.

The renewal looks to offer health-conscious consumers balanced choices through everyday snacking options.

Both brands will be supporting England’s women’s, men’s and para teams over the coming years, with Kind snack bars being the focus during 2023 and Extra gum in 2024.

“Football provides some of the greatest culture moments in the UK, so we’re very proud to be partnering with the FA to bring KIND and Extra to a nationwide stage,” Mars Wrigley UK business unit director, Kerry Cavanaugh said.

“It’s a brilliant opportunity to show our customers the range of products we offer that are synonymous with a balanced lifestyle.”

FA commercial director, Navin Singh added: “We’re delighted to continue our partnership with Mars Wrigley with a renewed focus on Kind and Extra. This evolving partnership aligns perfectly with our passion to encourage balanced lifestyles.

“We thank Mars Wrigley for their continued support across our England teams and we look forward to working together over the coming years.”

This comes as Mars has announced a £400 million sustainability bond which will invest in renewable energy, energy efficiency and green building as part of its climate strategy.

Last month, the confectionery maker began trialling recyclable paper packaging across its Mars chocolate bars, and Kind snack bars saw a packaging update last October by incorporating recycled content made from advanced recycling.
