Snappy Group appoints new head of marketing to help grow brand presence

The Snappy Group have appointed Brad Jones as its new head of marketing.

He joins the technology business, owners of growing delivery app Snappy Shopper, after three and a half years with leading redistributor of food and household products Company Shop Group  and will report to chief growth officer, Dan Calvert.

Jones will help  Snappy Shopper grow its brand’s presence in new and existing areas in the UK and globally.

He will focus on boosting local businesses and their communities by growing brand awareness of the Snappy Group, through the promotion of Snappy Shopper and Hungrrr.

The news comes as last month, Snappy Shopper teamed up with anti-food waste app Gander, to become the first delivery app to offer reduce to clear items for home delivery.

“We are delighted to have Brad head up the marketing team here at Snappy. He shares our enthusiasm for empowering local businesses and supporting growth,” Calvert, said.

“Coming from a company who were motivated by earning trust and loyalty of stakeholders, Brad brings a fresh outlook to the team allowing the Snappy Group to continue positive progress in the market.”
