Lyle’s Golden Syrup has launched a new limited-edition design of its 454g tin to celebrate The Coronation of His Majesty The King and Her Majesty The Queen Consort.
The iconic syrup brand will produce over 120,000 tins and will be available in all major retailers from 24 April.
The design will feature growing vines, flowers, and apples inspired by His Majesty King Charles III love for the environment and nature.
Alongside this, bees are also depicted, paying homage to the bees seen on the original Lyle’s Golden Syrup tin – which holds a Guinness World Record for the longest unchanged branding.

It comes as new data reveals that over two thirds (63%) of Brits are expected to attend local street party celebrations for the King’s Coronation this May.
As a holder of a Royal Warrant for over 100 years, Lyle’s Golden Syrup will also be donating £25,000 to the Royal Warrant-Holders Association Charity Fund.
The fund supports small, local charities in the communities of Warrant holding companies and their employees.
“This is a historic moment and we’re proud to help mark the special occasion,” Brand Manager at Lyle’s Golden Syrup, Louise Coates said.
“The Coronation inspired design is an exciting addition to the iconic tin and we hope that Lyle’s Golden Syrup helps to create baking recipes fit for a King over the long weekend,” she added.
