Jack Daniel’s and Coca-Cola team up to launch pre-mixed drink

Jack Daniel’s has partnered with Coca-Cola to launch a ready-to-drink (RTD) pre-mixed cocktail in Great Britain.

Made with Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whisky and Coca-Cola, the RTD is inspired by the classic bar cocktail.

Last year both FMCG giants announced they would be teaming up and debuted the product in Mexico in November 2022.

“We are thrilled that Jack Daniel’s and Coca-Cola RTD is expanding to new markets, delivering the unique taste that was made to set the standard for bar calls around the world to our fans in Europe,” Brown-Forman, the owner of Jack Daniel’s, chief strategic growth officer and president Europe, Marshall Farrer said.

Now rolling out across Great Britain, the drink will be launched alongside a Coca-Cola Zero Sugar version.

“This is a huge moment for us, for our customers and for the alcoholic ready-to-drink (ARTD) category,” Coca-Cola Europacific Partners associate director and distributor of Jack Daniels and Coca-Cola RTD in GB, Elaine Maher said.

“The UK is the biggest ARTD market in Europe and expected to grow significantly by 2030, driven largely by pre-mixed cocktails. Within this, whisky-based variants are in growth– and what better brands to join forces to accelerate this growth than Jack Daniel’s and Coca-Cola.”

The packaging also looks to integrate qualities of both brands, with the red Coca-Cola logo written in Spencerian script, combined with the black Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 design.

Maher added: “Convenience and simplicity are key for in-home occasions, and with Jack Daniel’s & Coca-Cola now available in a ready-to-drink format, consumers can now easily replicate the perfect serve of this iconic ‘bar call’ drink at home.”
