Heinz launches new hot cross bun mayonnaise for Easter

Heinz is launching new limited-edition jars of hot cross bun mayonnaise for Easter.

Made from Heinz’ [Seriously] Good Mayonnaise and toasted hot cross buns, the new flavour features cinnamon spices and fruit pieces that are designed to be spread on the classic seasonal treat.

Kraft Heinz is running a competition for the launch, where 100 of the limited edition jars will be up for grabs until 2 April.

The Easter inspired mayo competition is only running for one week, and lucky winners will receive one jar each through the post.

With the iconic FMCG brand being at the forefront of food innovation for over 150 years, Heinz [Seriously] Good Hot Cross Bun Mayo is part of a larger transformation story to bring innovation to excite consumers with more unique products.

“From delicious chocolate orange to crème egg, people love Heinz’s sweet mayo combos as much as we love inventing new, eggs-citing products for our customers,” Brand Manager at Heinz, Katharina Kern said.

She added: “So, to wish everyone a very hoppy Easter this year, we’re giving 100 lucky winners the chance to get their hands on our Heinz [Seriously] Good Hot Cross Bun Mayo.”

It comes as grocery brands Heinz and Absolut Vodka partnered to launch a brand new limited edition tomato vodka pasta sauce, inspired by the viral TikTok and Instagram recipes for Pasta alla Vodka.

Last month, Heinz also launched a trio of new products, combining its signature mayonnasie with mustard, sriracha and BBQ sauce.
