Five new products: Quavers, Cadbury, Terry’s, Belvita, Nakd

Quavers

PepsiCo crisp brand Quavers has launched a new BBQ Sauce flavour as part of its core line-up.

This comes as part of a £24 million investment to increase production capacity at Quavers’ Lincoln factory, to support the launch of the new flavour and further innovations.

Alongside the BBQ offering, the brand is unveiling a new packaging design supporeted by out of home, social media, e-commerce and in-store marketing.

Quavers BBQ Sauce is currently available in Asda and impulse stores in multipacks and price marked packs, and will be rolling out in grab bags from 10 April in Tesco and Morrisons.

Cadbury

Confectionary brand Cadbury has launched two new flavours of Mini Rolls in Chocolate Orange and Chocolate Mint.

The first flavour extensions to be added to the core range, the new varients join the brand’s exciting Milk Chocolate and Chocolate Rapberry offerings.

Both flavours will be available across the grocery channel from this month in packs of five with a RRP of £2.25.

Terry’s

Terry’s has launched a Terry’s Chocolate Orange Ice Cream exclusively in frozen food retailer Iceland.

Available in tub and stick format for £4, with an introductory price of £3, the ice cream will roll out across stores and online from 27 March.

The 450ml tubs will contain chocolate orange flavoured ice cream with a chocolate sauce, while the sticks will also feature the milk chocolate orange ice cream, layered with chocolate sauce and coated in a chocolate orange shell.

belVita

Biscuit brand belVita has expanded its Baked Bars range with a new Dark Chocolate and Orange flavour.

Rolling out with a new design, all packs will now highlight the benefits of the bars through enhanced on-pack messaging, such as it being a natural source of fibre and containing five whole grains.

The bars are currently available in boxes of four at RRP £1.75 and will be supported as part of a high impact media campaign for the sub-brand over the next year.

Nakd

Natural Balance Foods is set to expand its Nakd brand in April with the addition of two ranges joining its wheat, gluten, dairy free and vegan snack bars.

Nakd Protein Bars will be rolling out across stores next month in Cocoa Hazelnut, Peanut Butter and Caramel flavours at RRP £1.25 for single bars and £3 for multipacks.

These are set to offer protein that is HFSS compliant, while also being the only raw protein bars in the fast-growing segment.

Nakd Big Bars are also set to launch in Cocoa Orange and Blueberry Muffin, which will be 45g – 10g more than the standard size at RRP £1.25 each.
