Co-op appoints new chief financial officer

Co-op has appointed a new chief financial officer, taking over the role from current interim CFO, Mike Hazell.

N Brown group CFO, Rachel Izzard will be stepping into the position from June as both chief financial officer and a member of the convenience retailer’s Group board.

Previously, Izzard has held a number of senior leadership and CFO positions, including at IFA Cargo, Aer Lingus and most recently at fashion retailer N Brown.

“We’re delighted that Rachel is joining us at such an exciting time for our Co-op,” Group CEO, Shirine Khoury-Haq said.
