Fresh food manufacturer Higgidy has become the first ever non-vegan brand to sponsor Veganuary.

The collaboration comes as Higgidy looks to showcase its growing plant-based portfolio as over 75% of its pies, quiches, rolls and muffins are vegetarian or vegan.

As part of the new partnership, the Veganuary logo will appear on Higgidy’s vegan content, the brand will be included in the charity’s emails and both will collaborate across social media content.

Higgidy and Veganuary will also be strengthening their relationship by working closely on future product development launches.

Across its current range, Higgidy offers Spinach and Red Pepper Mini Vegan Muffins, Bang Bang Cauliflower Dinky Vegan Rolls, a new Roasted Chickpea Masala Pie and a Petit Pois and Courgette Vegan Little Quiche.

“We are delighted to become official sponsors of Veganuary. It’s a real honour for us and we hope this recognises the hard work we have put into ensuring the Higgidy brand is truly veg led,” Higgidy CEO, Rachel Kelley said.

“We are really excited to see how many people take the Veganuary challenge in 2023. Our senior management team will be taking part in the Veganuary Workplace Challenge and sharing content and tips on Higgidy’s blog and social channels to help inspire others too.”

Veganuary head of communications, Toni Vernelli added: “We are delighted to have Higgidy on board as a sponsor for 2023.

“Our job is to help people try vegan – whether for the planet, animals or their health – and that is made much easier when brands like Higgidy produce tasty and accessible vegan products. We look forward to working with them as they increase their plant-based range.”
