Marks and Spencer has extended its opening hours for the Christmas period as well as announced Boxing Day closures, allowing employees to spend more time with loved ones.
From 19 December to the 23 December, to make it easier for customers to shop at a time that’s convenient for them, the retailer will be keeping around 300 of our stores open until 11pm.

The grocer also revealed it has extended its usual time limit for returns.
As a result, any purchases made online or in store between 13 October and 24 December can be returned up until 28 January 2023.
“Our teams really step up over the festive period to help make Christmas special for our customers, including working extra hours so we can keep our store doors open for longer,” M&S stores director Helen Milford said.
“It’s a busy time for retail so giving our colleagues Boxing Day off is a small thank you for their hard work delivering a remarkable Christmas for our customers.”
M&S joins both Aldi and Iceland, which have both announced closures for Boxing Day.
The news comes as M&S recently announced that food sales up are up by more than 5% as group half-year profits plummet by nearly a quarter, with rising costs offsetting otherwise strong sales growth.
