Frozen food retailer Iceland has unveiled its 2022 Christmas advert, featuring Noddy Holder.
The advert, which airs on ITV during Im a Celebrity tomorrow evening (19 November), is making a stand asking customers to support England and Wales in the World Cup, before celebrating Christmas.
Noddy Holder features in a festively lit room, preparing for Christmas, about to say his iconic line, “It’s Christmaaas” before being interrupted by the voice of Brian Blessed interrupts.

‘No, no, no! Not yet Noddy! Don’t you know the football’s on’, Blessed says in the advert, instead, he goes onto reveal a huge spread of party food deals that the viewers can buy now from the frozen supermarket.
“We’ve taken the unusual step of silencing the Christmas legend. With the World Cup kicking off on Sunday we need the nation to be putting their energy into supporting the England and Wales football teams,” Iceland Foods marketing director Casper Nelson said.
The news comes as the frozen food retailer teased the advert launching teasers with the ending ‘#NotYetNoddy’, poking fun at other retailers who have launched their festive campaigns early.
